S/N 17755 is one of only two or three 365 BB Targas built by Straman, the most respected shop to perform such conversions. Compliance work was completed by Amerispec in Conneticut, the most respected compliance shop in the country.

Only 900 carbureted Boxers were made, and of those only 387 were 365 Boxers, while over 1,000 injected Boxers were produced.

The 365 carries a significant weight advantage over the later 512 - 3200 lbs vs. 3800+.

365s also offer the highest horsepower of all Boxers - 344 @ 7000 RPM as opposed to 340BHP @ 6800 for the 512 (carb.) and 340 @ 6000 for the 512BBi.
